We are sponsoring a Food Drive to benefit the homeless families in Antioch.

When: Saturday October 4, 2008
Where: Starts at 9 am at

Poker Run Instructions

 (There are 2 ways to win!!!)

The cost per hand is $10.00 per person.  Each additional hand will cost $10.00.  There are two ways to win.

 First you can win the cash prize (50/50 split) by getting the best poker hand: second, each ticket you receive along the poker run route will increase your chances of winning some great prizes.  After paying your entry fee, you can choose the number of stops you wish to make.  At each stop for each item of food you purchase and give to the AWC volunteers you will receive one ticket -good for one card in the poker hand cash prize, but it also will be good in the drawing for great prizes (WOW Pretty cool!!!)

So at the stops, go on in and buy some food!!!

There is no limit to the number of tickets you can collect, and all are good for the prize drawing, but the maximum number of cards you can draw will be 10 per hand.  This will be one card for each ticket you collect (up to TEN PER HAND); but more tickets mean you have more chances at the prize drawing. You will create your best hand of 5 cards.  The highest hand wins the cash.

Then we will have a prize drawing for a gift certificate, tools, and much more.

If you only wish to make one stop on the run, you can just pay $10.00 per poker hand and $5:00 for lunch, and go to any one of our planned stops and you will receive one ticket for each item of food you give to the AWC volunteers.

If you do not wish to make any stops, you may just bring several cans or items of food to the church and pay the $10.00 per poker hand.  You will receive 1 ticket for each can or item of food and you can win the cash and or the prizes in the drawing.

You can play any way you wish.  If you wish not to play, we will also be taking donations of food and cash for the food drive. After the poker hand drawing we will also sell additional raffle ticket for $1.00 each, or 12 tickets for $10.00 for the raffle only.
